Art Through Touch

Art Through Touch is a relatively new organisation that provides art activities for blind and partially sighted people in south London. In December 97 I led a one day workshop with an eight person group from Art Through Touch. This collaboration resulted in us creating a series of Panels called 'The Language of Touch Group Project'. The panels were based on my work using massage techniques as forms of mark making which were combined with music to suggest the mood of the finished work. This project as well as another titled 'The Human Body Group Project' were exhibited in November 98 at Saint George's Hospital Totting in London as part of the annual Wansworth Arts Festival.
